Shaping Tomorrow: SKP's Dedicated Approach to ESG
In SKP, we are committed to integrating sustainability into our strategy to improve our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and achieve long-term goals.
On 5th March 2024, we joined the United Nations Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei, reinforcing our commitment to global sustainability. In the face of mounting environmental challenges, SKP is making powerful strides toward sustainability by adopting solar energy across its operations.
The journey began with the successful installation of solar panels at Plastictecnic (M) Sdn Bhd in Bangi, signaling the company’s dedication to clean energy solutions.
By the end of 2025, SKP will expand this initiative to its factories in Nilai, Batu Pahat, and Johor Bahru, by fully integrating solar energy into its operations. This bold transformation is projected to deliver a remarkable reduction of 9,099.21 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, marking a significant contribution to global climate initiatives.
With over 50 years in the electrical and electronics plastic industries, SKP prioritizes quality and advanced technology. We are committed to integrating sustainability into our strategy to improve our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and achieve long-term goals.
On 5th March 2024, we joined the United Nations Global Compact Network Malaysia & Brunei, reinforcing our commitment to global sustainability. We have also installed solar panels at our Plastictecnic (M) Sdn Bhd factory in Bangi to reduce emissions and reliance on fossil fuels.
Additionally, we have enhanced employee training in health and safety, providing more training hours compared to the previous year. As of 1st December 2023, we adopted Anti-bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy & Guidelines, assessed anti-corruption risks, and ensured all employees completed anti-bribery training. We maintained strict compliance with laws and regulations, with no incidents of non-compliance this year.
